The Time Warner Cable Million-Dollar Hole-In-One will begin on June 2nd and will run through Friday, June 9th. Individuals can qualify at any one of the four locations throughout the Rochester area:
- Penfield Community Center, Baird Road in Penfield
- Greece Town Hall, 1 Vince Tofany Boulevard in Greece
- St. John Fisher College, East Avenue in Pittsford
- Henrietta Veterans Memorial Park, Calkins Road in Henrietta
Qualifying locations are open daily from 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM. Entry fee is $1.00/ball, $10/15 balls. Great prizes are presented daily by Dick’s Sporting Goods.
The semi-final round takes place at Executive South Family Golf Center in Henrietta on Saturday June 17, 2006. This year, 12 men and 12 women will compete in the final round on Sunday, June 18, 2006 on the 9th hole at Locust Hill Country Club. In the final round, a hole-in-one wins $1,000,000 annuity, closest to the pin wins a 2006 Buick LaCrosse®. Second place wins roundtrip airfare for two to any destination in the continental United States, and 3rd place wins a playing spot in the 2007 Wednesday Pro-Am.
The Time Warner Cable Million-Dollar Hole-In-One event is a strong community effort that raises more than $75,000 for the Disabled Children Of Monroe County’s two camps for children with disabilities, Camp Haccamo and The Sunshine Campus.
In conjunction with the Wegmans LPGA, and the Time Warner Cable Million Dollar Hole-In-One contest to benefit the Rochester Rotary Camps for children with disabilities, Time Warner Cable is holding an essay contest for kids ages 6-18. The winner’s dad will get one shot in the final round of the Million-Dollar Hole-In-One contest with the chance to win $1,000,000 at Locust Hill Country Club on Father’s Day.
